Cast for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

As you all know the sixth movie is being filmed right know and Ron is going out with Lavender so we must have a Lavender. For all who don't know, on July 1st an open casting call was held for Lavender and over 7000 girls were there to read the script in the scene with Madam Pompfrey, Ron and Hermione. Yates, the director, brought in Rupert Grint to read certain lines and snog the top five best candidates for Lavender, to see which pair has the best "chemistry".
A girl named Jessie has been casted for the role, her last name has not been disclosed. Emma Watson described her as "perfect for the role of Lavender".
List of the Cast:
Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter: Warner Bros. officially announced on 23 March 2007. Radcliffe has insisted that he will not be on autopilot while filming, and intends to make Half-Blood Prince better than the previous five films.
Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley: Warner Bros. officially announced on 23 March 2007.
Emma Watson as Hermione Granger: Warner Bros. officially announced on 23 March 2007.
Watson considered not returning for the sixth film, but eventually decided that "the pluses outweighed the minuses" and could not bear to see anyone else play Hermione.
Michael Gambon as Albus Dumbledore: Radcliffe confirmed on 24 September 2007 in an interview with MTV. The revelation of Dumbledore's sexuality prompted Gambon to "camp up" around the set when off camera, but his on screen performance remains the same as it was in the previous films.
Jim Broadbent as Horace Slughorn: Confirmed on 17 September 2007 by Dark Horizons. He describes his costumes as "tweedy", and the character as "comic", while Radcliffe noted that "[Slughorn's] tragedy will outweigh the comedy".

Harry Potter Review

Harry Potter Review
With Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, J.K. Rowling has created a lovely conclusion to her astonishing seven-book series. Ironically, amid all the hysteria and hoopla, the rumors, the leaks, the overheated theories, Hallows provides a calm ending to a global sensation that has made millions of children and adults happy. But Hallows is a serious novel that traces Harry's inescapable embrace of adulthood with all its responsibilities, doubts and burdens. For this wizard, that burden basically involves saving the world.
The plot centers on Harry's struggle to lead the battle against the Dark Lord, Voldemort, now that Harry's beloved Hogwarts' Headmaster Albus Dumbledore is no longer with us.
Harry must wrestle with life's big issues: How should he define courage, whom can he trust, how much should he allow others — old friends like Ron, Hermione, Neville Longbottom, and Remus Lupin — to sacrifice for him? (Think Frodo in Lord of the Rings.)
